We are Phil and Kathy Bauer. Phil is 45 and has been living with Idiopathic Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension (IPAH for short), a life threating disease since Feb 07. We have two adult children, Chelle and Joey. We have a very supportive church family whom we can count on for anything. We have created this blog for those who would like updates on Phil's condition or would like to leave comments for us.
Phil passed on this Thursday, January 22. His passing was peaceful and many friends and family were there with him for his send-off.

If you'd like to help ease the financial burden associated with Phil's illness, you can make donations to the Phil Bauer Medical Fund at Oregon State University Federal Credit Union.
