Sunday Visits

Well, Phil and Kathy have been blessed with many visitors. Just what they wanted. Ask and you shall receive :) There were several who came by on Sunday to visit, bring some food and supplies, play games, pray, and a small gaggle even brought along instruments and communion for an informal Sunday evening service. Phil was wide awake, alert, and full of good humor for the first half hour or so. After that, he kind of dozed and waked his way through the rest of the visit. We talked together, prayed together, sang together, listened to some of Pastor Dave's thoughts (and Bible readings) about communion together and then we broke the bread and drank the "wine" (Patty opted to bring grape juice, as she wasn't sure if Phil could have wine) in remembrance of all that Christ has lovingly done, is doing, and will do to ensure that we get to spend eternity with Him. At one point, after a song, we asked Phil if he had anything he wanted to say. His answer? An emphatic, "Keep going!" So, Tanner and Rod, played on. Sweet.
