At Home
We got home Friday night around 8:30pm. The hospice nurse was there about a half hour later with pain meds, which was good. Phil has been sleeping a lot, but when he is awake, he is alert and can hold a conversation for a bit. Then it is back to sleep. The doctors gave me a short window and Phil does not care to know about that. I am letting people know so you will have time to see him before he goes home to be with Jesus. You can sign up on the care calendar or give me a call and let me know you are coming. He likes visitors! :)
Thanks for all the prayers and support. We are truly blessed by the people we know and even those we don't know.
God Bless all of you!
Love
Kathy and Phil

What can anyone say to comfort you except that the object of your faith is all that matters! Those who live in Christ have the assurance that this life is not all there is and in this there is comfort. It is clear in your blog that this assurance is yours in abundance despite the pain you must presently feel. Our prayers are with you as they are with your children.

Hebrews 10:19-23
Therefore, brothers, since we have confidence to enter the Most Holy Place by the blood of Jesus, by a new and living way opened for us through the curtain, that is, his body, and since we have a great priest over the house of God, let us draw near to God with a sincere heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled to cleanse us from a guilty conscience and having our bodies washed with pure water. Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful.
You are in our hearts and prayers.
