Big Decisions Being Made

Phil and Kathy are up in Portland at the Legacy Good Samaritan hospital. They went up on Friday, 12/28 after spending a few days trying to get fluids drained at the Good Samaritan hospital in Corvallis. The relatively small amount of fluid that they succesfully drained in Corvallis, came back while Phil's been in Portland. Phil is in the critical care unit- room 19. The choice that they were asking for prayer about had to do with whether to keep trying things to keep Phil's body going or to say, "enough is enough" and come home. They've decided to come home and are currently planning on coming home on Friday, 1/2. When they come home, hospice will be coming. Kathy and Phil would like to have visitors at the hospital in Portland and at home, but please call first.
